We had an exciting evening in the school on Wednesday past as the BBC Newsline Team came to join us at our Family Health Initiative. The news of this fabulous family scheme had obviously hit the newsdesk and it wasn't long before Donna Traynor and her crew landed in Keady! The ladies from the Early Years Team did not disappoint as they educated our families on some of the more unusual fruit and vegetables and the importance of a well balanced meal. This was followed with the children helping to make some delicious smoothies, our P7 reps Oran and Oreon talking about how the school council help promote Healthy Living in our school and a fun badminton session with super coach Nick from ABC Council.
