Primary 3 celebrated World Science Day by leading an assembly to share their fantastic work in Science this week. The boys and girls explained to the other classes that they had investigated which of five food items would roll down a ramp and the distance it would travel if it rolled. They had to make their predictions first and then create a fair test to check it out. There was a lot of discussion around if the shape and weight of the items would help it to roll. We also chatted about how much force we would use to push the items down the ramp. At the end we used string to find the distance each item had rolled and then measured the string using our feet. There were very interesting results. Well done Primary 3!
