Primary 7 had a fabulous day on Wednesday at their Confirmation Retreat held in the TMAC. The day started with a fun art activity led by Mrs O Reilly. P7 pupils used symbols of the Holy Spirit to create some fabulous vibrant and colourful masterpieces. Mr Sloan then led a creative stem lesson in building structures and during a period of reflection afterwards, used the analogy of a structure needing strong foundations to the importance of us having strong foundations in our faith. The day ended with Miss Daly, our student teacher, leading the class in song and dance in celebration of the upcoming Confirmation ceremony on Saturday. A massive thank you to our staff who helped organise the retreat in anyway and to Fr Aidan for inviting the children down to the chapel for pre-Confirmation prayers and Confessions. We now take this opportunity to wish our P7 pupils a very holy and happy day on Saturday.
