F.A.S.T

On Tuesday last our Families and Schools Together team, comprised of parent, school and community partners got the FAST programme up and running in St. Francis of Assisi Primary School.

The school welcomed parents , pupils and their preschool siblings to an afternoon of fun activities aimed at further empowering parents to help with their child’s learning and development and building stronger bonds between families and schools.

The Parent Time and Kids Time  element of the programme were particular favourites as was the family meal, which was served by the children! The school would like to thank all those participating in the programme, particularly the voluntary Parent and Community Partners. The toys from Arke SureStart made the afternoon great fun for children.

Congratulations to the McNally and McGleenan families  who won the family gift hampers. We look forward to seeing you all next week. New families can still join the programme up to and including week three, so if you haven’t signed up yet and wish to be included ,please call the school and leave your name in the office.
