The boys and girls from Primary 4 to Primary 7 took part in a Rural Litter Sticker Competition organised by Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council.
The children were asked to think about the harm and damage littering causes our environment and to get creative by designing a special sticker to persuade people not to fling it, but to bin it!
The winning design will be printed onto stickers and given to participating food outlets to attach to their carry out food packaging advising the purchaser to dispose of their packaging responsibly.
We worked together to share ideas and to develop a design for a new sticker which would encourage everyone to keep our community clean and healthy.
