Our P1 children have been working hard this term on patterns. We have been copying patterns, continuing patterns and some of us even created our own patterns. We did this using different materials and had great fun discussing the patterns with our friends.
We have also learning about 2D shapes. We sorted the 2D shapes into circles, squares, rectangles and triangles and discussed their different properties including how many sides the different shapes have and if they have straight or curved sides. Have a look at what we got up to below 🔺🟥🔴 🔺🟥🔴
