In Primary 5 we have been studying the poem 'The Sound Collector' by Roger McGough. This poem is a list poem that uses onomatopoeia to help bring the sounds in the poem alive.
Using this poem as a model, we wrote our own list poem based on the sounds heard in the rainforest. We also used onomatopoeia to help bring life to our work and used the same rhyming pattern; ABCB. We hope you enjoy reading our poem!
