Looking after our mental health was the message of the day as Primary 3 highlighted Mental Health Awareness Week 2023. We talked about how feeling anxious can give us butterlfies in our tummy, make us feel frightened and also cause us to have a busy mind. We shared tips and tricks on how to make ourselves feel better such as playing outside in the fresh air, spending time with our family and friends, exercising and getting a good night's sleep. Everyone joined in a brain break, participating in the 'wiggle dance' which certainly helped to get our endorphins flowing! We finished our assembly by chatting about who we can turn to when we have worries and are feeling anxious. Well done Primary 3 - there were plenty of happy faces today as we left assembly 🎈😁
