At today's assembly the boys and girls in Primary 6 had the whole school rocking out to Bon Jovi's 'Livin' on a Prayer' to celebrate their learning in music over the last number of weeks. The children discussed the benefits of music in our lives before giving a Grammy worthy performance showing pulse, rythmn and their skills on the glockenspiels. Primary 6 then invited the rest of the school, staff and pupils alike, to join in and it definitely lifted everyone's mood on this rainy day!

Congratulations also to the Pupils of the Week who received their much deserved awards - one for using good manners, some for mental maths and using great problem solving skills, one or two for spellings and writing and this was a fantastic one -for 'thinking outside the box'!
