Pupils of the Week presented as Primary 6 celebrate World Mental Health Day in Our Weekly Assembly π
Staff and pupils enjoyed a very informative and pro-active assembly this week with our Primary 6 pupils teaching us how important it is that we are aware of our different emotions, reminding us that it is ok not to be ok and giving us some great strategies to help ensure we are looking after our own and our friends mental health everyday.
Mrs Hughes then commended the pupils who were awarded the Pupil of the Week awards. She spoke of the great work going on in the classrooms and complemented the pupils who received awards for their literacy and numeracy work, as well as those who were awarded for their continued hard work in phonics. A special mention was given not only to the child who showed kindness to another child in their class but to the child who received their award for remembering to include others in play when outside in the yard and for helping this same child with work in class - it’s always lovely to hear about our pupils who continue to impress with their caring and kind nature! Comhghairdeas do gach uile duine a bhain dalta na seachtaine amach π Congrats to all our award winners π We have a few who unfortunately missed the assembly this week as the P2 and P3 children were away on a Shared Education Trip - we look forward to hearing all about their wonderful farm trip next week!
