Sporting Success for St Francis of Assisi
A huge congratulations to our Primary 6 and 7 pupils!
Last week, our P6/7 girls put on a brilliant performance during the Paddy Morgan tournament held on their own home turf at Gerard McGleenan Park, Keady. The girls battled it out in the play offs to secure a place in the Shield Final and after a thrilling game of football against a gallant Granemore side were crowned Shield Champs! We are so proud of you all girls! Well done π π
To add to our celebrations our P6/7 boys, today, travelled to Derrynoose GAC. The boys showed great teamwork and skill throughout the day and played to an outstanding level. Following an exciting Cup Final against St John’s PS Middletown the boys emerged victorious, taking home the Paddy Morgan Cup. Congrats boys!ππ
Our pupils really enjoyed meeting with other schools and competing in the tournaments; many thanks to our own staff, parents and members of Keady Michael Dwyers who helped host the girls tournament last week and to Our Lady’s & St Mochuas staff for such a great day today at the boys tournament.
