St Brigid’s Feast Day

Tomorrow the 1st February is the first official day of Spring and the Feast Day of St Brigid. Have a look at our short video courtesy of a well known local Gael, Mr Angus Nugent, who so kindly demonstrated the art of making a St Brigid’s Cross during our lockdown classes last year. This is a step by step guide for anyone who would like to try this at home! Our older classes in school are all going to give it a go. We hope to get the crosses blessed by Fr Aidan before they go home. We pray to St Brigid and ask for her blessings for the pupils, staff and families of our school.
