The boys and girls in Primary 6 and Primary 7 had the pleasure of welcoming the pupils from Lisnadill PS. The children were split into two groups to take part in some exciting and ‘out of this world’ team building activities.
They enjoyed developing their fundamental movement skills with the coaches from healthy kids. During this activity the children worked together to take part in drills that improved their dribbling, catching and throwing skills as well as their agility in sports like football, hurling/camogie, hockey and rugby. The activity ended with little boogie to the Cha Cha Slide with even the teachers joining in to dance their socks off!
They also enjoyed a fantastic STEM lesson on aerodynamics, led by our very own Mr Sloan. During this activity the children worked as a team to make rockets from paper and braved the weather to test launch them.
