Primary 5 have been working hard to find the perimeter of large areas in our school. They were able to decide on the appropriate measuring tool for the particular area and the units of measurement needed. The children worked in small groups to calculate the perimeter of the Playground, Dining Hall, our Classroom and the corridor. The children were then able to convert their answers into meters and centimetres. Keep up the hard work Primary 5!
